This policy applies to information collected through mdldc.com (including our contact forms) and related pages we operate. It doesn’t cover employee/contractor records.

The information we collect

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

  • Company or neighborhood (if provided)

  • Your message describing the help or services you’re seeking

We may also receive limited technical details automatically (e.g., IP address, browser type, and basic logs) to keep the site secure and functioning.

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Respond and coordinate assistance for neighborhood needs

  • Maintain records of requests (who asked for help and when)

  • Improve planning (e.g., spotting common needs)

Protect our website and community from spam or misuse

What we don’t do

  • We do not sell your personal information.

  • We do not use your information for targeted advertising.

When we share information

We share information only as needed with:

  • Service providers (e.g., website hosting, email, records). They must protect your information and use it only to help us.

Legal/safety reasons (if required by law or to protect our community, staff, or partners).

Cookies & basic analytics

We may use essential cookies and basic, aggregated analytics to keep the site running and understand overall usage. If we add non-essential analytics or other cookies later, we’ll update this policy and, where required, provide notice and options.

How long we keep information

  • We keep contact-form submissions only as long as needed to respond and keep helpful neighborhood records. As a guideline, we retain submissions for up to 24 months, unless needed longer for an ongoing project or legal obligation. You can ask us to delete earlier (see “Your rights & choices”).

Your rights & choices (Colorado Privacy Act)

Colorado residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and export (portability) their personal data. You also have the right to opt out of:

  • processing for targeted advertising,

  • the sale of personal data, and

How to exercise your rights

Email us at privacy@mdldc.com (or use our site form) with your request. We may take reasonable steps to confirm your identity before acting on your request, as allowed by Colorado rules. privacy.gtlaw.com

Appeals

If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email with “Appeal” in the subject. We’ll respond to appeals within 45 days (with one reasonable extension if needed) and tell you how to contact the Colorado Attorney General if you’re not satisfied. TrustArcConnect On Tech

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf; we may need enough information to confirm both your identity and the agent’s authority. Colorado Secretary of State

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect our practices. If we make material changes, we’ll post a new date at the top.
