Through the Recycling Resources Economic Opportunity (RREO) program, Metro Denver Local Development was able to purchase new dual bin debris and recycling receptacles for the Broadway Pedestrian Mall Special District. These receptacles were placed in the heavily trafficked area of Broadway recently renamed as The Heart of Broadway. In 2019, this new collection stream successfully removed over 9,000 lbs of recyclable materials from Denver's landfills. Special thank you to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for partnering with the MDLDC.
